Le Don Hilton... ❤ ... is an 18th-century guard house and powder magazine that sits on the seawall on St. Ouen's Bay. It is also known, and loved by islanders, as "the Little White House" because of its whitewashed walls and vault, and its distinctive appearance makes it an informal landmark for sailors. The cottage, together with four vergees (a French acre), to the National Trust for Jersey by Marie Genevieve Hilton in 1975. Plans for the next market on 14th June are well underway. Come along and see all the beautiful handmade crafts by very talented people. From knitting and crochet, to wax melts and candles, to unique greetings cards, to quilts and cushions, to jewellery, to hand drawn pyrography... to mention but a few! Stop by our games table, where all monies go directly (in full) to the fantastic work done by The Jersey Hedgehog Preservation Group. Choose from our selection of fresh farm vegetables, from in and around the Parish. You can also message us, and we will have a box of your chosen veggies ready for you. Stay for a spot of lunch, we're told that the kitchen is ready at long last, and normal services can be resumed!😋 Bring the children and have your cuppa/lunch outside on the village green, while they enjoy full use of the playground.
