Seymour Tower 💖 Seymour Tower was built in 1782 on the rocky outcrop, almost two miles off the south-east coast of Jersey, known as L’Avarison Islet following the Battle of Jersey in 1781. The islet provided a secure base and a practical location for early warning of any impending attack. The Eurasian Lynx 🐱💚 Europe's 3rd largest predator after the brown bear and the wolf. It is the largest of the four Lynx species. A magnificently striking cat. Hand drawn and painted with acrylics on beautiful smooth Sycamore. I did this in the 1990's and have just taken it out of storage!
