... is an 18th-century guard house and powder magazine that sits on the seawall on St. Ouen's Bay. It is also known, and loved by islanders, as "the Little White House" because of its whitewashed walls and vault, and its distinctive appearance makes it an informal landmark for sailors. The cottage, together with four vergees (a French acre), to the National Trust for Jersey by Marie Genevieve Hilton in 1975.
