In my book it's never too early, especially when it's all for charity. This is Mr and Mrs Claus's home in the North Pole. Painstakingly made, mainly from recycled cardboard, old clear folders, old twigs, fake grass, and odds 'n' sods rounded up from Acorn that I felt would lend themselves to the project. This house was also in a competition I ran last year... It was won by a lady who said her granddaughter was too young to enjoy it, and wanted it to be run again this year. How generous was that ❤️ To find out a little more about the house check out the comments for a few more pictures and blurb, as I post them... Gotta keep the intrigue going! The house can be seen from tomorrow, at Reg’s Garden - St Brelade. To win it, all you have to do is guess how many hours and minutes it took me to make. It's £5.oo per guess, and you can have as many guesses as you want, for £5.oo each of course! All money raised will be divided between The Jersey Heart Support Group 💖 The Jersey Hedgehog Preservation Group 🦔💚 and Jersey Rescue Dogs 🐶🐾 Please dig deep 😘

JERSEY HEDGEHOG PRESERVATION GROUP Hedgehogs are one of the most iconic creatures you are likely to come across in Jersey, helping to keep down pests in our gardens, and enhancing our countryside. They have to overcome more and more obstacles to survive here, habitat loss due to development, the biannual hedge cutting for the branchage, and our changing climate. Hotter, drier summers make it harder to find food and raise their young. Warmer, wetter winters mean they may not hibernate. For over thirty years, the Jersey Hedgehog Preservation Group has been there to help sick, orphaned and injured animals. Up until now it has been run by volunteers, but we have to look to the future, to ensure we keep going despite the rising costs of food, medicines and veterinary care. Please think of us as you prepare your wishes for the future.
