This is our boy from Bellevue who came in as a juvenile last autumn and was released in January, only to reappear at half his release weight in the Spring, 3 months later, so we have treated him again and he is now back up to his fighting weight of 760g, he went back home today with Susie, he was so keen to go he almost fell off the shelf! He will be support fed at his release site.

Monique will be in the Community Zone of the Pride Festival at People's Park next Saturday afternoon, 21st June from 1-5pm. Do go along and join in the fun. This hedgehog had a nasty strimmer wound to his head with some skull bone exposed. The wound healed very well with the help of New Era vets and Manuka honey. He is being released today.

This poor boy was found last night he has an old strimmer wound to his head which was full of maggots and his nose has been cut. It is the nose which is the main cause for concern, if it is too badly damaged he will have to be put to sleep. PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN USING ANY KIND OF BLADE AND CHECK FOR HEDGEHOGS BEFORE YOU START CUTTING.

This old boy was found in St Ouen's last night, he has a swollen nose and has been shaved by a strimmer on his head but luckily no skin was broken. He couldn't breathe well last night, but this morning is much better and is eating as you can see. Fingers crossed his nose continues to improve
