If you want to own an original painting of Jersey at very reasonable rates look no further. As many of you will know, Mary was a primary school teacher specialising in arts and crafts. She painted in watercolour, oils and acrylics, and could often be seen painting around the island's coastlines, as well as being an accomplished needlewoman, as can be seen in a couple of the pictures. She was a member of the JSA until age and disability caught up with her. Do come along and support her work, take a piece of original Jersey artwork home with you. Morning Playmates! Not been around much as sorting out for the craft market on Saturday. I'm fast losing any appetite for running it, as everyone takes and there's no give. No help, no concern for those around them. Just self, self, self. It's totally soul destroying. I will probably put up with it a little longer, until I find something better

Yet again the kitchen will not be available to prepare and serve hot food, Jersey Wonders or Sugar Cookies 😔 We are now told normal service should be resumed on 1st June! 🙄 Fingers crossed there will be delicious smells emanating from the hatch at the market on 14th June! We can't leave you all hungry, so we will have a selection of fresh rolls, with different fillings, available instead 😋 Tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be as usual. It's very disappointing as it's having an adverse affect on our market. It's amazing how the kitchen draws people in.
